Refit the original sealing ring onto the 4th Piston. Fit the RED O-ring into the OD groove of the Housing. Fit the small sealing ring to the 2nd piston & slide the Housing over the sealing ring. Common complaints on this transmission are TCC slip or shudder, code P1870 or P0894, harsh 1-2 shift, double bump shifts, 2-3 flare up, burnt 3-4 clutch plates as well as inconsistent. Fit the JUST 2nd Piston into the Servo Bore to seat the the sealing ring. Hope someone has a little advice to give i'm using the sonnax 2nd and 4th servo kits. This 4L60E-HD2 Reprogramming Kit fits 1993 to 2015 General Motors vehicles equipped with the 4L60E, 4L65E and 4L70E automatic transmission. Does that seem odd? I did find it odd also that my pin and the 2nd gear piston have a little play between spring and washer e-clip? Someone had said i have a worn out spring there I just used the oem spring and on the oem setup it was against all the parts. But i never had to grind/file on my tip of my pin at all. I unfortunately had to pull the 4th back out due to my 2nd not pushing in all the way for some odd reason. I just dont have enough room to get anything in there I used a tape measure and figured i needed more than a 1/16th and no more than 1/8th it all looked good with no o-rings had a heck of a time trying to get it together with the o-rings on and now there is like hardly any play at all in the servo and the retaining ring. I was wondering if anyone actually got a dial indicator and checked the pin travel while the tranny was in the vehicle. I dont know if it has been address before, it might have and i'm not finding it but.
